The client deferred a check-in expansion and funded temporary seating and a revised hold strategy for the next peak season. One limitation noted by the client: airside escort slots limited observation to agreed windows, so overnight freighter turns were out of scope.

The client’s model assumed security processing rates from a quiet September sample. The review replaced those rates with December observations and flagged a bag-tray reclaim delay that the model ignored. The board paper was rewritten with a narrower peak definition and a temporary lane plan. The planning lead later noted that commercial partners still disputed retail dwell language, which sat outside the review scope.
